Chump Change is on its way....
Welcome To Milwaukee!! We want to thank Steve Burrows and his friends for taking the time out to come and visit us during these cold and frosty days in Wisconsin.
On December 22nd, 1999, we welcomed Steve Burrows, writer, director & star of "Chump Change" to Sue's Bay View Bandwagon. The movie features the Steve Meisner Band and is expected be realeased sometime in Spring or Summer of 2000. The folks living in Milwaukee, WI will be able to see a featured premiere of "Chump Change" at the 41 Twin Outdoor before the memorable theatre is torn down. Hors d'oeuvres were served and prizes were given away throughout the evening. It was a full house as usual :-)
Steve gave us some insight as to what the movie is all about. It looks to be a romantic comedy full of fun and excitement. Steve plays himself in the movie and entertains Steve (Burrows) and Traci Lords (starlet), in the final scene at a polka dance were they consummate their love for each other dancing to the Steve Meisner Band.
Steve introduced everyone to the slow romantic song that will be played for the finale and it sure was a treat. He had a hard time coming up with a name for this new song, but with some help from Steve Burrows, they came up with the name "Tundra Serenade". It is sort of a Latin Swing type of dance. Very romantic, very soft. The crowd seemed to truly enjoy it. We look forward to hearing it in the movie as well as seeing it on the soundtrack.
