Letters from Fans

From Dave Wolnik who played drums with Eric Noltkamper for Steve's anniversary

Just want to let you know that it was an honor to be a part of of your 25th  band celebration. Things worked out perfectly for me to make the trip with  "Da Boyz" I am really happy for you and Barb with the tremendous turn out for  the week end. Just goes to show you that you have many many good friends in  the business. That includes the Meisner boosters. I knew that a good time was  going to be had, but it was a hundred fold better than expected. I was glad  to see all the friends that I made through all the years of playing in your  area with the the likes of Yankovic, Timko, Fedorchak, Joey, etc. Glad to  hear that you are doing this again next year. Again, thanks for letting me  be a part of one of the best weekends that I have had in a very long time. A  special thank you goes out to you and Barb for the super hospitality that you  gave us!!!!! Will be in touch. Dave Wolnik

Steve: What great musical experience at this late in my life being at your 25th Anniv. of your musical career. You have a lot of pages of music to play before you even think of retiring and many more people to enjoy your artistry of all kinds of music. Talked with Terry, the photographer, and he will be sending me pictures that he took of the affair. With what I took, there should be enough for a nice article for the Polka News which I intended to write if that's o.k. with you. Thanks for the chance to set in with you guys, like I said I'm out of your league and different material that I try to play, but it was a thrill for me, nervous as I was. Hope the party continues on as a annual affair. When it does, I hope to be a part of it once again. Meanwhile, be well and keep the music flowing ---------------Part of your musical family-------------Andy

Congratulations on your 25th anniversary as a band leader. How many guys  do you know of in your age bracket - that could fit in the same  position? Not to many, I bet. It is a challenge and you took it on and  succeeded. Thanks to your dad and your relatives for giving you the  interest in the music field and now we are reaping the benefits. God  Bless you and your family, your Dad and your Mother. I am so glad that  you care so much for her. Again, con-gratulations on your anniversary  and thank you for all that wonderful music. Without music - what kind of  world would we be living in? Music is the best therapy for what ails  you. Thank You! Ed Kalembkiewicz
